Everyday we fight the demons in our lives. Sometimes we succeed only to battle the same demons all over again the next day. Then feeling discouraged by our failures we keep the battle ragging. We keep fighting even though the battle has already been won.
We don’t want to give it up, so people do not find us weak or under par for today’s’ standards of what strength might be in others eyes. We need to continually feed our desire to be perceived as stronger than our weaknesses. When we are stricken and our self defenses are no longer working for us, instead of stepping back and regrouping we tire ourselves with lies of how we can still stand up and fight on all by ourselves.
