2011 in a nutshell

2011 was a wonderful year of NEWS. New Marriage, New trip across Alaska, New home, new car. The highlights were wonderful.

I got married at 52 years of age to a wonderful man.

I took a plane, several trains and buses on a trip to and  across Alaska on a tour with my mom with Holland America Tours. Twelve days of being served. Yes! It was breathtaking.

We moved not once, but twice. It was hard finding a space that welcomed the silence. especially when you get up at 5am to go to work and no one smokes. Asthma. 😦  (sorry no pictures)

We bought our first car together. It is a Honda Fit and surprising it carries everything we need from paintball gear, our  fishing poles to a porta-potty. Yes I like life’s little comforts when there is none around.

The table we built to come off the back of the car.

If 2011 was life changing, I wonder what 2012 holds for me.
