What a day

It snaked its way along the mountain sides, Curving as natural as the trees it hides
Thick as smoke, but lighter still, It crept along, the path it filled
Smothering all in its way, Yet everyone could stay
It lifted up now and then, As if it had been penned
Then out came the sun, Now we will see some fun
The path soon yielded its hidden treasures, The sun did take many pleasures
In burning away the fog so thick, It didn’t have any place to pick
Gone with the morning sun, But there is always tomorrow’s run
